Payment + refund policy

Each student is required to read this Payment and Refund Policy to understand the commitment they are undertaking before registering for courses with West Coast Reflexology / Michele Mork.

General Information

• All registration and course fees are paid to Michele Mork,  Licensed Canadian Reflexology Teacher (L.C.R.T.)

  
  

Course Fees

• A deposit is required to reserve your spot in the Certified Reflexology courses. Course fees must be paid in full a minimum of 1 week prior to the start of the course date.

• Course fees must be paid in full to reserve your spot in the Hot Stone Reflexology course.

Methods of Payment Accepted

• e-Transfer (send to westcoastreflexology@gmail.com, direct deposit)

• Visa or MasterCard (Online payment link will be provided upon registration. Or visit https://west-coast-reflexology.square.site/)

• Cheques

• Cash

R.A.C. Fees

The following fees are NOT included in tuition costs paid to Michele Mork:

• Reflexology Association of Canada (R.A.C) membership;

• Registered Canadian Reflexology Therapist (R.C.R.T.) program membership;

• Cost of professional reflexology sessions - if required (receipt must be presented at final practical exam)

Limit of Refund

• Course deposits are non-refundable.

• A refund will not be any more than the amount paid by the student.

• Refunds will be subject to a non-refundable administration fee. (Non-refundable fees differ by course. Please contact Michele Mork for details on non-refundable fees as they pertain to your course registration.)

• There are no refunds given after a course starts. 

Notice of Withdrawal

• Notice of withdrawal by a student to the L.C.R.T. must be confirmed in writing / email.

• Students registered in short form, single day or weekend courses may withdraw with a minimum of 7 days advance notice in order to receive a full refund minus the applicable administration fee.

• Students registered in long form, multi-week courses may withdraw with a minimum of 30 days advance notice in order to receive a full refund minus applicable administration fees.

• If the L.C.R.T. receives withdrawal notice with less than 7 or less than 30 days notice, the L.C.R.T. will retain 100% of all fees paid.

Special Circumstances

• At the sole discretion of the L.C.R.T. a refund may be issued for students with a duly certified and valid medical condition or death in the immediate family. The valid medical or death certificate must be sent to the L.C.R.T. along with the request in writing to be withdrawn from the course. 

Payment of Refunds

• The L.C.R.T. will pay valid refunds due to students within thirty (30) days of cancellation or receiving written notice of withdrawal.

Dismissal of a Student

• Where a student exhibits disruptive behaviour, uses foul or abusive language, constantly interrupts the teacher or comes to class under the influence of drugs or alcohol, the teacher may dismiss the student after the teacher has first issued a verbal, then a written warning. The matter will be reviewed by the L.C.R.T. and confirmation of dismissal and loss of fees confirmed in writing to the student.

Photo / Video Image Consent

West Coast Reflexology may take photos or videos as part of regular classes and activities. These photos/videos may used for promotional purposes to advertise course offerings with Michele Mork of West Coast Reflexology. 

I consent to allow West Coast Reflexology to use my image (photo or video) on its website, social media, and promotional materials. I understand that I may withdraw this consent at any time in writing.

Course Payment Information

Please identify your method of payment. Course registration will not be secured until payment of the deposit for your course has been received. All payment information will be securely stored and held with strict confidentiality. Payment information will not be shared with any third party.
