The Myofascial Reflexology course is a combination of online training and hands-on practical training program integrating full body Myofascial Release & Reflexology. Upon completion of this course you will receive a professional certification as a certified reflexologist.

MYOFASCIAL REFLEXOLOGY CERTIFICATION COURSE INFORMATION

Pre-Requisite

  • Must have a minimum of 2 years experience as a certified reflexologist, RCRT or body worker
  • Must have completed and passed CORE Reflexology training (contact Michele at westcoastreflexology@gmail.com to discuss if you are not already a Certified Reflexologist)

 Note:
These treatment sessions are done on a massage table. This is a full body treatment from the tip of the toe to the top of the head
 

Course Breakdown 

  • ONLINE (Zoom) classroom hours = 2 hours
  • IN-PERSON classroom hours = 24 hours
  • *Practicum of 25 case studies = 50 hours
  •  **Mentor Classes –  Meet via Zoom once a month for 3 months.
  •  Practical Exam (completed within 1 year from the last day of the in-person training) = 2 hours

*Myofascial Reflexology Practicum / Case Studies – The purpose of the Practicum is to develop treatment plans consisting of Health Records, session documentation, assessment documentation and progressive charting and evaluation for each practice client. The student must provide the examiner of the practical exam at least 25 sessions for examination and evaluation. The practicum should include a minimum of 5 clients. There shall be a minimum of 3 sessions for each client. These must be started after the last day of the practical class and the student shall have 1 year from the last day of the class to complete these. In order to ensure protection for you and the client, liability insurance is required if you are charging a fee for service during your Case Studies. 

**Mentor Classes – The Mandatory Mentor classes must be completed before you can take the practical exam. 

Once you have successfully passed the practical exam, you will receive a Certificate of Completion as a certified Myofascial Reflexologist with West Coast Reflexology. 

Cost

  • Option 1: Fee to attend course only = $1000 + GST ($500 deposit required to secure your registration) 
  • Option 2: Additional fee for certification  = $300 + GST (Case Studies, Mentor Classes, Practical Exam)
  • Note: If you are not already a Certified Reflexologist. You will also be required to take the CORE Reflexology training (anatomy & physiology) & pass the exam. Details on cost and how/when to take CORE Reflexology training must be discussed with Michele.
