What to expect for the 90 minute service…
You will be asked to fill out a brief medical and general health history form. After a discussion about your health, you are then placed in a relaxing and comfortable position on a massage table.
The treatment begins with a cleansing of the feet with a hot towel followed by a variety of gentle warm up techniques starting at your feet to assess what your body needs. Then my hands work their way up to your head to give you a bit of Cranialsacral Therapy. I come down your back and provide Myofacial release when required and then back down to your legs and feet. Each foot is gently assessed by a thumb- or finger- walking motion over all the reflex points of both feet as the body is considered to be a whole unit. Each treatment is slightly different, suited for your body’s needs. Your feet will feel relaxed, stretched out, and lighter and your entire body will feel relaxed and stress-free.
Please wear comfortable clothing with pants that can be rolled up to the knee and comfortable footwear for after the treatment. Your feet will feel relaxed, more flexible, and stretched out.
As with any body work, it is advised to drink plenty of water to help your body release any toxins that were moved during the treatment.
